Jharkhand High Court at Ranchi, the  Bench of Honourable Mrs justice Anubha Rawat Chaudhary during the hearing of a criminal revision; August Kumar Mehta vs the state of Jharkhand, by allowing petition, the Court remarked, "As per Article 141 of the Constitution of India, the law declared by the Hon'ble Supreme Court is binding on all the courts within the territory of India and the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court applies to all pending proceedings. Upon perusal of the aforesaid decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, there is no indication that the same would apply prospectively and there is nothing fike any prospective operation of law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. In this regard, reference may be made to the case of Maj. Genl. A.S. Gauraya and Another -vs- S.N. Facebook Vs. Union of India (2019) PIB (Press Information Bureau) has clarified via its publication dated 20th June, 2021 that the Supreme court directed the Government of India to frame necessary guidelines to eliminate the child pornography and related contents in online platforms and other applications. Therefore, in accordance with this judgment the GOI came up with Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.  The court said it is imperative to frame proper regime to find out the persons, institutions, and bodies who were the originators of such content messages. Recently, Justice Jyoti Mulimani, Karnataka High Court, has also commented regarding the the colonial practices of addressing Judges as "Your Lordship/ My Lord and said "The learned Members of The Bar are requested to address the Court as 'Madam". She is the second Judge of Karnataka High Court who suggested to call her Court by not using Your Lordship/ My Lord. In April this year, Justice Krishna Bhat had requested to lawyers appearing before his Court to avoid using colonial terms "Your lordship"/ "My Lord". Many more Judges also suggested to lawyers for addressing the court with phrases like "Sir" or "Madam" which has the dignity of the Court. An observation regarding this was given by Supreme Court during hearing of a PIL moved by an Advocate Shiv Sagar Tiwari in 2014, to pray for removal of the practice of addressing Judges as "Your Lordship" and "My Lord", while dismissing the PIL the Bench...

Instead of stopping the deforestation, the government was bent on cutting the forest there in Chhatarpur Buxwaha, it is really unfortunate. Government is going to cut well-flourished jungle consisting of more than 2 lakhs trees, not for developing something which may be necessary for the nation. It is for completely unnecessary for common people. It is just to flood the money in to pockets of some diamond Industrialists, few contractors and politicians. I want to request Government of Madhya Pradesh and Government of India, kindly do not do this, it will be like disaster.
